A forward-thinking secondary school in Enfield is seeking an enthusiastic and committed RE Teacher to join their team on a long-term agency basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated RE Teacher to inspire students and contribute to a supportive and inclusive Religious Education department.
The Role
As an RE Teacher, you will:
1. Deliver engaging and high-quality RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
2. Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with school policies
3. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
4. Support students’ spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development
5. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the RE curriculum
The Ideal Candidate
The successful RE Teacher will:
6. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
7. Have experience teaching Religious Education in UK secondary schools
8. Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
9. Be adaptable, proactive, and enthusiastic
10. Be passionate about engaging students in RE and promoting critical thinking
This role is ideal for experienced practitioners or an ambitious RE Teacher at the early stages of their career looking to develop in a supportive setting.
