What You’ll Be Doing:
* Speaking with customers experiencing payment difficulties and agreeing realistic routes forward
* Managing arrears cases through tailored repayment plans, forbearance options, or term solutions
* Proactively contacting customers by phone, email, and post to understand circumstances and agree outcomes
* Handling loans approaching term end, understanding exit strategies and planning next steps
* Managing both collections and litigation cases to resolution
* Liaising with third-party solicitors, surveyors, receivers, and other stakeholders
* Supporting complex litigation matters that fall outside standard processes
* Issuing redemption figures and resolving related queries
* Reviewing third-party invoices for accuracy and approval
* Working within agreed mandates and escalating exceptions when required
* Ensuring service levels and Treating Customers Fairly principles are consistently met
Main Skills Needed:
* Confident telephone manner and strong written communication
* Negotiation skills with a calm, solution-focused approach
* Ability to manage complex cases and competing priorities
* Strong attention to detail and organised working style
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team
* Logical, proactive, and resilient under pressure
