Production Planner

Location: Nr Hailsham, UK
Reports to: Manager, Purchasing & Planning

What Youll Do

1. Own the plan: Take full responsibility for scheduling and planning products through manufacturing cells.
2. Keep customers happy: Work with Sales to set and agree delivery dates, ensuring commitments are met.
3. Spot the blockers: Identify critical issues early, resolve problems, and keep orders moving.
4. Collaborate widely: Act as the bridge between Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
5. Use data smartly: Maximise our ERP/order management systems to give full visibility on progress.
6. Balance demand and capacity: Analyse load vs. capacity to avoid delays.
7. Support the team: Step in to help colleagues in Production and Purchasing when needed.
