Conveyancing Assistant
📍 Chester Office | Full-time | Monday–Friday, 9am–5.30pm
We’re looking for an organised and proactive Conveyancing Assistant to join our busy team in Chester. You’ll be supporting a Fee Earner with all aspects of residential conveyancing from onboarding through to completion and post-completion tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaising with clients and third parties via phone, email and face-to-face
* Chasing ID, searches, mortgage offers and other documents
* Updating case management systems and third-party portals in real time
* Preparing legal documentation, completion statements, invoices and completion packs
* Managing day-of-completion tasks and post-completion admin
* Ensuring an excellent client service at all times
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous admin experience (legal or property sector preferred)
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner
* Confident with Microsoft Office and case management systems
* A team player with a proactive and willing-to-learn attitude
* A minimum of years solid experience as a Conveyancing Assistant (ideally Residential Property)
