Job Title: Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Permanent Nights)
Location: Sleaford, Lincolnshire | Salary: £51,500 + Overtime | Shift: Permanent Nights – 36 Hours per Week

As part of a highly skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of automated production and packaging equipment. The role will involve both reactive and planned maintenance activities, ensuring machinery operates efficiently and downtime is minimised.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance across manufacturing and packaging equipment.
* Respond effectively to equipment breakdowns and production issues.
* Complete planned preventative maintenance schedules.
* Fault‑find on automated machinery and production systems.
* Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
* Experience working as a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding abilities.
* Recognised engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical or Multi‑Skilled).
* Experience carrying out reactive, preventative and breakdown maintenance.
* Ability to work effectively within a fast‑paced production environment.
Desirable Requirements
* Previous experience within food, FMCG, packaging or automated manufacturing environments.
* PLC fault‑finding experience using inputs and outputs.
* Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
