PA for a teenage boy (13‑year‑old with Down syndrome and Autism)
£12.50 per hour, 5 hours per week, with an additional 3 hours during school holidays. Location: Leeds LS17 and surrounding areas.
We are looking for a caring, patient Personal Assistant to support our 13‑year‑old son. The role involves taking him out for activities he loves – music, the park (especially swings), and cinema trips – or joining the family on outings with his 3 siblings.
Qualifications
What we need:
* Someone warm, reliable, and child‑focused
* Confidence supporting a young person with learning disabilities (experience helpful but not essential)
* Good communication skills and a calm approach
* Ability to work independently during outings
* UK driving licence and car – preferable but not essential
* Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
