Hello Nook is offering a chance to join and train with our small, family-run, high-end furniture-making business. We will provide hands-on skills and experience. We make very high-quality, bespoke, fitted and free-standing furniture. The hours are flexible to accommodate training. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can or could learn spray finishing.
Wage
£9,422.40 for your first year, then it could increase depending on your age.
This is the National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices.

Hours
Monday to Thursday 8:30am-3pm. For the right candidate, hours can be altered.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by gaining hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
The apprentice will be based in the workshop undertaking the following:
* Participate in practical tasks, including sanding, spray painting, and making furniture.
* Answer to the workshop manager.
* May require off-site days for furniture installation.

Training
Apprenticeships include time away from work for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
Day release training will take place at Burnley College weekly.
Requirements
Essential qualifications
GCSEs in Maths and English (grade E/2 or above). Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience. They can adjust the apprenticeship accordingly.
