Quantity Surveyor – High End Residential Projects
Richmond | £2m–£3m Projects | Refurbishment & New Build
I’m working with a well-established, privately owned residential contractor delivering high quality projects in London. The business is run by two hands-on directors and has a strong site delivery team in place, but they are now looking to bring in their first dedicated Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing and upcoming projects.
This is a key appointment for the company and would suit a QS who enjoys autonomy, variety, and being close to the build process.
The Role
* Acting as the sole Quantity Surveyor across multiple live projects
* Commercial management of high-end residential refurbishments, extensions, and full new build houses
* Projects typically ranging from £2m to £3m in value
* Procurement of materials including flooring, tiles, windows and specialist packages
* Managing subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Supporting project and site managers with commercial input
* Based primarily on 2 live sites (of £2m+ each) in Richmond, with flexibility to work from home or from the company’s North London office
About You
* Quantity Surveyor with experience in high end residential refurbishment and/or new build housing
* Comfortable operating as the commercial lead within a smaller business
* Practical, delivery-focused, and confident dealing directly with subcontractors and suppliers
* Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
