The Clinical Audit & Effectiveness Team plays a vital role in ensuring that we deliver the highest standards of care by supporting clinical teams to measure practice against national and local standards, as outlined in the Trust’s Forward Measurement Programme. The team oversees the Trust’s NICE Guidance and Quality Standards distribution and reporting processes and manages participation in NCEPOD studies, providing essential assurance functions within the wider Quality and Safety framework.</p><h3>Main Duties of the Job</h3><p>We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our busy Clinical Audit & Effectiveness Team and support the delivery of the Trust’s Clinical Effectiveness Strategy. This role involves developing and delivering clinical effectiveness processes, including close collaboration with clinicians and managers at all levels. You will be responsible for your own directorates and workstreams, working within an established structure to develop and deliver clinical effectiveness processes.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><p>• Develop and use measurement tools and systems to provide assurance that local and national standards are being met.
• Ensure lessons learned are captured and shared, and identify areas for improvement to support high‑quality service delivery.
• Plan, collect, input and analyse clinical data to produce high‑quality reports and presentations for Clinical Effectiveness meetings and other forums.
