About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide high-quality support to children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism.

Your role will involve supporting pupils throughout the school day, helping them engage with learning, develop independence, and achieve positive outcomes.

* Encourage pupils' confidence, independence, and social development
About You

We are looking for individuals who:

* Have an understanding of Autism and SEND
* Are caring, patient, and resilient
* Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Have good organisational abilities and attention to detail
* Demonstrate strong literacy and numeracy skills
* Are confident using ICT and digital resources
* Work well both independently and as part of a team
* Have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people

Previous experience within a school environment is desirable, but applications from candidates with relevant experience in education, care, youth work, or support settings are also welcomed.

What You'll Receive
* Permanent employment within a specialist SEND setting
* Competitive salary and SEN allowance
* £100 welcome payment upon successful completion of probation
* A supportive and collaborative staff team
* Opportunities for ongoing training and professional development
* The chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people every day
