EYFS 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Mansfield (NG18) Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire (NG18) Position Type: Full-Time (Term-Time Only) Salary: £90 - £110 per day (based on experience) Start Date: Sept 25 Contract Type: Temporary with potential to go permanent Are you passionate about supporting young learners in their first steps of education? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive early years setting in Mansfield. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 support for a child in Early Years with behavioural and/or emotional needs Assist in delivering engaging play-based learning activities under the direction of the class teacher Implement behaviour intervention plans and monitor progress Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to create a consistent support structure Encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation ✅ Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience working in an EYFS or nursery setting Confidence in supporting children with behavioural needs or SEND A patient, empathetic, and proactive attitude Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification (desirable) A valid and enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) What We Offer: Supportive leadership and dedicated SEN team Ongoing professional development and training opportunities Opportunity to make a real difference to a child's school journey Competitive daily rates and flexible working options (full or part-time)
