As our Solution Design and Capacity Planning Manager, you'll be at the forefront of designing and delivering future-ready supply chain models that support growth, efficiency and exceptional service for our clients.
Based at Bedford, or one of our other Distribution Centres across the UK you'll take a leading role in designing logistics solutions and capacity plans across warehousing, transportation and value-added services. What you'll be doing
* Designing scalable logistics solutions for both new and existing healthcare clients
* Supporting tender responses with compelling, cost-effective operational models
* Lead the creation of capacity plans to anticipate growth across our UK logistics network
* Build forecasting models to guide resource planning and ensure operational readiness
* Use tools such as Power BI, Excel, WMS / TMS reports to uncover data led insights and drive improvement.
* Work cross functionally with Operations, Commercial, Finance and IT teams to implement effective and sustainable logistics strategies.
What you'll bring
Essential
* Proven experience in solution design or capacity planning, ideally within a 3PL, healthcare or regulated environment.
* Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills and a solid grasp of data modelling.
* Comfortable supporting commercial tenders with technical and operational input.
* Experience managing complex projects and communicating with senior stakeholders.
Desirable
* Experience with GDP, MHRA and other healthcare compliance frameworks.
* Exposure to automation technologies or warehouse simulation tools.
* A degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or engineering.
