Overview
We are recruiting for a professional and self-sufficient Water Hygiene Engineer to cover a mix of client sites across South East of England. You will be joining a privately-owned and highly respected Water Hygiene / Legionella outfit. We are ideally seeking someone with good access to the M25 for easier travel to client sites. Our client is able to support candidates through thorough training schemes, and can offer fantastic development within the industry.
Preferred candidate locations include Reading, Woking, Weybridge, Kingston upon Thames, Twickenham, Epsom, Sutton, Mitcham, Fleet, Bracknell, Wokingham, Windsor, Maidenhead, Slough, Camberley, Crowthorne, Fleet, Watford, Harrow, Farnborough, Wembley, Hayes, Southall, Beaconsfield.
Qualifications and Experience
* Track record working as a Water Hygiene Engineer, within a well-established outfit
* Good understanding of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
* Professional attitude
* Experience working across a range of commercial, public sector and local authority premises
* Good literacy and numeracy skill level
* Proficient in using IT software
Responsibilities
* Undertaking a wide range of pre-planned hygiene management tasks
* Showerhead disinfections
* Cold water storage tank inspections, cleans and disinfections
* TMV servicing and failsafe checks
* Closed system sampling and testing
* Cleans and disinfections on cooling towers
* Water sampling
* Temperature monitoring
* Producing regular service reports and updating logbooks
* Maintaining the reputation of the company
