What the role looks like
You’ll be teaching Maths in small, well-supported classes where relationships matter just as much as results. Expect to work closely with SENCOs, therapists, and a caring team who genuinely want the best for every pupil.
You’ll be:
1. Breaking down concepts so they feel achievable, not overwhelming
2. Creating lessons that build confidence and spark curiosity
3. Supporting learners with needs such as autism, ADHD, SEMH or MLD
4. Using structure and consistency to help pupils feel safe and ready to learn
5. Celebrating every win, no matter how big or small
What we’re looking for
6. A Maths specialist who loves the subject and knows how to adapt it
7. Someone patient, steady, and unshakeably positive
8. SEN experience is ideal, but not essential if you’ve got the right approach
9. UK QTS or FE/Unqualified teachers with strong experience welcome
10. A team-player who wants to make school feel like a safe place for every child
