Senior Maintenance & Engineering Lead Quarry & Manufacturing Site – Doncaster We are recruiting a Senior Maintenance & Site Engineering Lead to join a long-established quarry and manufacturing operation near Doncaster. This is a key succession hire, replacing a highly experienced individual retiring later this year who mostly built the quarry and infrasture so a thorough handover is vital. This is a hands-on, site-based role for someone who lives and breathes keeping a complex industrial site running, improving, and evolving. The Role You will take ownership of day-to-day site engineering and maintenance across a busy quarry and manufacturing facility, working alongside a small, experienced maintenance team and trusted specialist contractors. Responsibilities include: * Keeping the quarry, batching plant, and site infrastructure operational * Mechanical maintenance and fault-finding on heavy plant and equipment * Oversight of site buildings, services, drains, buried services, and facilities * Supporting and leading small site improvement and infrastructure projects * Coordinating contractors for specialist repairs and installations * Responding to breakdowns when required (very infrequent, but hands-on) * Maintaining a strong, practical health & safety culture * Gradual transfer and ownership of critical site knowledge P...
