Why This Role?
We’re scaling fast, and demand is growing. To meet it, we need a Sales Development Representative who can generate conversations with the organisations shaping citizen services in the UK and beyond.
As one of our first SDRs, you’ll be the engine fuelling our growth: reaching out to leaders across employment support providers, local authorities, housing associations, and other citizen-facing services. Your work will open doors to opportunities that ultimately help thousands of people get the support they need.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
* Driving high-quality discovery meetings through outbound email, LinkedIn outreach, phone calls, and creative prospecting.
* Researching and segmenting target accounts to craft personalised outreach strategies.
* Managing inbound leads with speed and precision to convert interest into real opportunities.
* Hitting and exceeding weekly/monthly activity and meeting-booking goals.
* Maintaining CRM hygiene and accurate pipeline reporting.
* Partnering with marketing on campaigns and events to maximise lead generation.
* Testing new outreach tactics and sharing learnings across the team.
What You’ll Bring
* 1–3 years of experience in SDR/BDR or similar commercial roles, ideally in SaaS, GovTech, or impact-driven startups.
* A proven ability to book meetings with senior stakeholders and consistently exceed targets.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills - you can make outreach messages stand out and handle calls with confidence.
* Resilience, persistence, and energy - you’re motivated by impact and not easily discouraged by a “no”.
* Curiosity and initiative - you find new ways in, spot angles others miss, and keep moving fast.
* Strong organisation - you keep every lead, note, and follow-up tight and never let things slip.
* You have experience working in a high-growth startup environment.
