As well as Durham, this role is easily accessible if you live in Ferryhill, Spennymoor, Newton Aycliffe, Peterlee, Sedgefield, Darlington, Bishop Auckland, Consett, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough and the surrounding areas.Were working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and its important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.Main ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Section Manager, the Quarry Supervisor will assist in the management of a busy quarry. As Quarry Supervisor you will also be responsible for:Operating mobile crushing and screening plants as well as mobile plantAdministrative and compliance dutiesUsing computer systems (Fortek, SAP, Excel and similar platforms)Housekeeping tasks and general maintenance assisting the fitting teamAdhering to Health and Safety policies and procedures and encouraging others to do soSupervising a team (Operators, Fitters, Electricians) across both quarry sitesOccasional weekend working that will be on a rota basisWork with other Plant Supervisors to ensure the plant is always running to its expected capacity and in line with the manufacturing and production programmeThe Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate for the role of Quarry Supervisor will have previous experience of working within a Quarry and or Asphalt plant environment or similar.
