About the role as an HLTA
You will:
Help plan, prepare and deliver engaging learning activities across the primary age range, including leading whole-class sessions when required.
Work collaboratively with teachers to support the planning, assessment and adaptation of learning to meet the needs of all students
Provide tailored and targeted support for students with a wide range of needs, including those with learning needs.
Support and help foster a positive classroom environment that is built on respect and belonging
Support the monitoring of pupil progress and contribute to interventions that close any attainment gapsAbout you
The successful HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) will have:
Hold an HLTA qualification
Have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and inclusive teaching practices
Be confident in leading learning for the whole class
Demonstrate a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion in education
