TECHNICAL SHOPFLOOR ENGINEER
* Technical Shopfloor Engineer | Manufacturing Engineering | Operational Excellence
* £36 per hour | 35-hour week | +20% Shift Premium (Double Day Shift)
* On-site in Broughton
* Initial Contract until July (Likely Extension)
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client operates within a highly advanced manufacturing environment, supporting large-scale production programmes where safety, quality and operational excellence are critical.
They are seeking a Technical Shopfloor Engineer to work directly alongside production teams, providing hands-on engineering support and driving continuous improvement at shopfloor level.
THE TECHNICAL SHOPFLOOR ENGINEER ROLE
As Technical Shopfloor Engineer, you will accompany the production team / Autonomous Production Team (APT), providing end-to-end engineering support across the shopfloor.
You will identify, analyse and resolve technical issues that cannot be managed by Operators or First Line Managers, ensuring minimal disruption to production activities.
You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, supporting non-conformance reduction activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and product safety requirements.
This role requires autonomy, adaptability and a proactive mindset within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

* Proven Manufacturing Engineering experience
* Experience working within regulated environments
* Strong practical problem-solving ability
* Experience supporting non-conformance reduction activities
* Good project management capability
