Purpose of the Role
The Invoice & Renewals Coordinator plays a key role within the Credit Control team, responsible for managing the timely payment of renewal invoices and maintaining strong, positive relationships with customers. The role focuses on chasing outstanding renewal payments, resolving queries, and ensuring that renewals are completed efficiently and professionally, while delivering an excellent customer experience.
Working Hours
This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week, worked on a shift pattern to support customers across multiple global time zones.
Shifts will be scheduled between the hours of 9:00am and 7:00pm, Monday to Friday.
No single working week will exceed 37.5 hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively chase outstanding renewal invoices via phone, email, and other communication channels.
* Negotiate and secure payment of renewal invoices in line with company policies.
* Work closely with customers to resolve billing queries or disputes in a timely and professional manner.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment commitments, and follow-up actions.
* Liaise with internal teams such as Sales, Accounts, and Customer Service to ensure smooth renewals and accurate invoicing.
* Monitor renewal timelines and flag potential issues to management.
* ADHOC Duties, may include Credit Control tasks
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent customer service mindset with the ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally.
* High attention to detail and accuracy when managing financial data.
* Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook).
Desirable:
* Experience managing renewal cycles or subscription-based payments.
* Knowledge of credit control processes.
