Twogether is looking for a Lead VueJS Engineer to join our Channel Solutions development team. Based remotely, with options to work from Glasgow, Marlow, or London offices, you will work on various services provided by Twogether to major technology companies worldwide. We design, implement, and maintain platforms and applications used by our clients to enhance marketing and business operations. As part of our engineering team, you will be at the forefront of delivering these services and developing new applications alongside technologists, consultants, project managers, and designers.
The Role:
As a Lead VueJS Engineer, you will architect and build robust, elegant user interfaces and web applications for both client-facing and internal projects. You will influence front-end development practices, guide technology choices, and mentor other engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop scalable VueJS applications.
2. Lead front-end architecture discussions and establish best practices.
3. Collaborate across teams through all project phases—from planning and estimation to development, QA, and deployment.
4. Provide technical guidance and support to engineers.
5. Contribute to improving workflows, tools, and code quality.
6. Maintain a keen eye for detail and prioritize clean, user-friendly design.
7. Communicate effectively and collaborate in multidisciplinary environments.
8. Advise on technology choices and promote best practices.
Technical Experience:
* VueJS and Pinia
* Git and workflows
* Responsive CSS frameworks like Tailwind or Bootstrap
* JS build pipelines with Vite
* SPA architectures
* Security considerations
Familiarity with backend development is beneficial, as our solutions are mainly server-side rendered PHP applications:
* PHP and Laravel framework
* REST API design and microservices architectures
Experience with AI tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, or CoPilot is a plus.
A degree-level qualification is preferred but not essential. This is not an entry-level role; candidates should have relevant commercial experience or open-source contributions.
