Job Purpose: As an HR Advisor at PTSG, you will provide a comprehensive HR service to multiple businesses within the Group. Working as part of a small, dynamic team, you will support and advise on core HR disciplines, including Employee Relations, Business Change, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, and Employee Wellbeing. Key Responsibilities: Advisory Support: Provide managers, employees, and external parties with information and advice across the full spectrum of employment matters. HR Administration: Support admin team with required administrative tasks in a timely manner, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with Data Protection regulations. Generate offer letters and employment contracts. Lead pre-employment checks across the Group. Maintain HR files and records on an ongoing basis. HR Process Improvement: Develop a range of policies, procedures, and templates with the Group HRD and business leaders to help managers make decisions efficiently and consistently. Employee Relations: Act as a process advisor and minute taker in formal meetings (e.g., disciplinary and grievance) when required. HR Metrics / Reporting: Create and maintain a dashboard of key people metrics with the Group HRD and Payroll Manager to support senior management decision-making. Metrics include headcount movements, employee turnover, vacancy updates, gender reporting, apprentice levy expenditure, etc. Projects: Participate in a range of projects aimed at business improvement, organisational change, or the introduction of new initiatives. Job Context / Key Challenges: The Group is growing rapidly, with 2700 current employees and aspirations to double in revenue by 2026 There have been many acquisitions over the company’s 17-year history and so the environment can be complex and demanding This would be a great development role for an experienced HR Advisor looking for a challenge and opportunity to transform HR within the business Person Profile (Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience): CIPD qualified (Level 5) Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with experience of producing letters, employment contracts, and other documents without extensive guidance Strong IT skills with experience of extracting and manipulating data from HR/Payroll systems, and producing a variety of outputs using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Must be flexible, organised, and calm under pressure Why PTSG?
