Location: Gloucestershire
Contract: 6-month temporary contract (with potential for extension)
Hours: Full-time
Salary: £26.67 p/h (umbrella)

About the Position
We're looking for a proactive Project Support professional to join a dynamic project portfolio based in Gloucestershire. Working on site as part of a small, varied team, you'll collaborate closely with project engineers as well as facilities and health & safety colleagues. A solid grasp of project administration-such as action tracking and budget monitoring-is essential, along with experience thriving in a fast‑moving environment.
Project Landscape
You'll contribute to a broad mix of projects, including:
* Relocation of operational departments to enable site expansion
* Small civil engineering works (£100k-£750k)
* Operational enhancements to increase capacity
* Mechanical and electrical infrastructure upgrades
* Procurement, installation, and commissioning of process equipment and plant
Key Responsibilities
This role offers exposure to a diverse range of initiatives across the site. Your typical responsibilities will include:
* Supporting projects from initiation through planning and delivery
* Working alongside project engineers to coordinate and manage change processes
* Liaising daily with external contractors, leading meetings, and driving action completion
* Organising and participating in internal stakeholder meetings, ensuring progress is monitored and issues are addressed
* Providing comprehensive project administration support, including drafting specifications, managing budgets, and tracking milestones
* Taking a proactive approach to progressing actions and ensuring timely outcomes
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential:
* Background in project support or project administration across varied projects
* Experience assisting with project budget management
* Strong organisational and time‑management abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Confidence working with contractors and senior stakeholders
* Effective team player
Desirable:
* Basic CAD capability
* Understanding of facilities and building infrastructure
* Awareness of CDM regulations and HSE requirements
