Receptionist / Administrator, to £30,000 + benefits – Private Medical Practice in Chichester
We have an opening for an experienced Receptionist / Administrator to help support and drive our award winning, growing Private Medical and Cosmetic Practice based on the outskirts of Chichester. This private practice is an exceptional place in which to manage a varied role alongside likeminded professionals who ALWAYS put the patient first.
Package: Receptionist / Administrator
Permanent, full time (part time applications may be considered where we can accommodate a job share) – salary to £30,000 per annum; pension; working hours 8am to 4pm (finishing at 6pm on a Wednesday only); free onsite parking; 25 days annual leave plus 8 statutory holidays
Duties include: Receptionist / Administrator
Being the first point of contact, the ‘face and voice of the clinic’ – meeting and greeting patients and visitors
Maintaining the clinic appointments diary (using specific software – training can be given), booking, rescheduling and altering appointments as required
Providing direction to people in person and on the telephone, preparing patients in advance of their appointments (ensuring all forms and consents have been completed)
Update patient information following protocols, maintaining patient confidentiality
Monitoring and responding to enquiries, and giving relevant information about the services we provide and associated costs
Taking cash and card payments and issuing invoices as required
Provision of secretarial support to the clinical director (letters, memos, calls etc)
Constant interaction and support to clinical staff and patients alike
Collection of patient information
Handling correspondence and file transfers
Ensuring the reception area and beyond are kept tidy and presentable
Experience/Attributes:
IT literate (MSOffice and database)
Presentable, professional – able to communicate in a confident and friendly manner
Used to managing important and confidential administrative processes
Experience of being client/customer-facing, ideally in a medical practice or similar environment
