Job Responsibilities
* Alongside the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager, lead the store team to follow store policies, standards and practices.
* Take responsibility for the store in the absence of other leaders, including keyholder duties.
* Serve as a positive role model to the team, representing our values of Ambition, Customer First, Teamwork and Integrity.
* Train, manage workload and support your team, while being hands‑on in store to ensure the right resources are in the right place at the right time for the best customer experience.
* Support the Store Manager to maximise store performance, including understanding and implementing the store plan and priorities.
* Actively promote and participate in initiatives that support the local community.
* Cover the Post Office when required; a P250 Post Office check is required.
Qualifications
* You must be 18 years or over and have prior store retail experience, of which at least 6 months must have been at a supervisory level leading a team in a customer‑focused environment.
* Have a natural ability to listen, interact and communicate with customers and team members.
* Be target‑driven to help the store achieve its business plans and priorities, and focused on continuous improvement.
* Inspire everyone to do their best for each other and the customer.
Working Hours & Schedule
Part‑time and full‑time positions available, up to 37.5 hours per week. Work within the store opening hours, Monday to Sunday, 7 am to 11 pm, with full flexibility required. Opening, closing and weekend shifts will be expected.
