We are hiring for a QHSE Coordinator who will work in the OI Andor Health & Safety & Facilities Team, reporting into the Group Health & Safety Manager. The QHSE Coordinator ensures compliance with Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
Responsibilities
* Developing and implementing QHSE management systems.
* Conducting risk assessments and promoting a culture of safety.
* Ensuring adherence to regulatory and industry best practices.
* Monitoring performance and facilitating audits.
* Delivering training to support continuous improvement.
* Safeguarding employee wellbeing and minimising environmental impact.
Qualifications
* 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (Grades A-C) or equivalent
* IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent Level 2 qualification in OH&S.
* 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
* Good working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
* Competent IT skills with full working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
* NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent Level 3 qualification in Occupational Health & Safety is desirable
This position is based on site at our Belfast headquarters with a secondment lasting until 31st March 2025 and potential extension.
