As the field service engineer, you will be required to carry out installation, repairs, services, and breakdown of high-quality machinery and equipment working with blue chip companies in the UK and overseas. You will become a subject expert on all machinery, including the installation of new equipment, support clients with ongoing technical changes and issues, and additionally provide training to the client.
What we would like from the Field Service Engineer:
Ideally 3 years experience working in Field Service
An engineering/apprenticeship qualification is preferable
An enthusiasm for engineering and customer service
Full UK driving licence
Understanding of PLC systems
Ability to travel and stay away for periods of 4 days to 2 weeks and in some rare occasions it can be 3 to 4 weeks
80% site work (UK and International) and 20% office/home based
What we offer the Field Service Engineer:
Base salary of £35k to £40k doe
Door to Door in the UK and paid at 1.5x after 8 hours Mon-Sat and 2x on Sunday
When abroad you will be paid for 14hrs regardless of worktime
23 days annual leave Bank Holidays
39-hour week
Flexible hours (8 to 10 per day)
£45 daily allowance and breakfast will always be included with the hotel. Any unspent money is transferred to the Engineers bank account
