Join our dynamic Emergency Response Team and become the first line of support for customers in need! As the face of our brand, you’ll be on the front lines, helping individuals who are concerned about potential gas escapes or carbon monoxide alarms. Your role is crucial in providing peace of mind during emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll not only assist customers but also collaborate with emergency services, playing a vital part in protecting lives. You’ll encounter a variety of situations, often helping vulnerable individuals, including the elderly, who rely on your expertise and empathy.
* Installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters for both home and business customers.
* Conducting high-rise and gas safety regulation surveys.
* Fitting cooker safety valves.
No two days will be the same, and that’s what makes this position exciting and fulfilling!
Experience and Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who possess:
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* A CCN1 or CMA1 qualification (a MET1 qualification is a plus but not essential).
* Experience in a gas environment, with a solid understanding of gas appliances, testing, purging, and commissioning of pipework.
* Knowledge of Standards, Legislation, Codes of Practice, and Health and Safety.
* A full UK driving licence.
