Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paraplanner to join our dynamic financial services team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial planners by preparing comprehensive reports, conducting thorough analyses, and ensuring that all client documentation is meticulously organised. This position requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of financial planning principles.
Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed reports and documentation for client meetings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Conduct financial analyses to assist in developing tailored financial plans for clients (FE Analytics, EV Pro, SelectaPension, MICAP).
* Collaborate with financial planners to gather necessary information and provide insights on client portfolios.
* Maintain organised records of client interactions, documentation, and financial plans (intelligent office).
* Utilise Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to create reports and manage schedules effectively.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client queries and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
* Assist in administrative tasks as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of the team.
* Manage time effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards in all deliverables.
Experience
* Proven experience in a paraplanning or similar role within the financial services sector is highly desirable.
* Strong report writing skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
* Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with strong IT skills.
* Exceptional organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members.
* Previous customer service experience is advantageous.
