About the Team
Our curation team acts as digital tour guides within large online community platforms, helping users discover relevant groups tailored to their interests and supporting the growth of smaller, emerging communities. As a vital member of this team, you will help improve how content is mapped, understood, and recommended, making a significant impact on user experience and platform engagement.
Role Overview
As a Content Strategist/Content Curator focusing on regions such as Germany, UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands, you will analyze, organize, and label posts and communities based on local culture, internet trends, and thematic relevance. Your work will facilitate better connections between users and content, strengthen user engagement, and contribute to the platform’s recommendation systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Contextualize and identify relationships between posts and community groups by analyzing culture, trends, interests, and audience profiles.
* Create, update, and maintain categories for posts and communities to improve content discovery and recommendations.
* Partner with curation leads, community managers, and strategists to implement content mapping strategies, primarily focusing on the German market (with broader European coverage).
* Execute accurate content labelling following internal policies and standards.
* Conduct quality assurance for machine learning results; help build and refine training datasets.
* Identify patterns and document actionable insights from your labelling and curation activities.
Required Qualifications
* Native proficiency in German and deep cultural knowledge; fluency in English (other European languages are a plus).
* Experience assessing, reviewing, or curating digital content for brands, social platforms, or community-oriented products.
* Understanding of internet culture, online platforms, and emerging digital trends.
* Skilled in defining content categories and accurate labelling of online data.
* Comfortable working in a fully remote, cross-border team.
* Demonstrated success as a content creator or curator on major platforms (e.g., TikTok, YouTube, Instagram).
* Experience as a moderator or community manager on online communities.
* Content curation and management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Flipboard).
* Familiarity with machine learning QA workflows (training datasets, labelling).
