About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated instructor to join our team, delivering a mixture of roped escape (abseiling) training and regulated first aid courses across the UK. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same, working with clients from a range of sectors to deliver essential safety and skills training. Full training will be provided in the specific requirements of rope rescue to ensure the successful candidate is fully competent in our delivery methods.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality abseiling and roped escape training courses in line with industry standards.
* Teach regulated First Aid at Work and related courses to learners across the UK.
* Ensure all training is delivered safely, professionally, and to a high instructional standard.
* Travel to training venues UK-wide, including occasional overnight stays.
* Maintain training equipment and resources, ensuring they meet safety and compliance standards.
* Support the development of new training materials and courses where required.
* Represent the company professionally with clients and learners, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum of Single Pitch Award (SPA) or Rock Climbing Instructor (RCI) qualification.
* Recognised accredited instructing/teaching qualification.
* In-date regulated First Aid at Work qualification.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Willingness to travel and stay away from home as part of the role.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
* Experience in delivering training to groups in a commercial or professional setting.
* Additional rope access, rescue, or outdoor leadership qualifications.
* Experience working with a wide variety of client groups.
