Founded over 30 years ago, Sir Cameron Mackintosh's Delfont Mackintosh Theatres Ltd owns and operates eight of the most prestigious theatres in London's West End: the Gielgud, Nol Coward, Novello, Sondheim, Prince Edward, Prince of Wales, Victoria Palace and Wyndham's. The role of Painter and Decorator will report directly to the Lead Painterand Decorator and will deliver the required responsive service to all decorative work orders and jobs across our Theatres and Head Office building. As part of the in-house decorating team, you will ensure all works are carried out to a high standard and in a timely manner, working and liaising as required with the Lead Painter and Decorator and the Theatre Management teams to prioritise jobs. You should have a recognised City & Guilds or NVQ qualifications for painting and/or wallpapering, together with a proven record of being able to deliver high quality decorative works for both painting and wallpapering. You will also require experience of working within highly decorative and heritage buildings as well as a proactive and flexible attitude to work undertaken.
