Highland Hospital is seeking a Stroke Program Coordinator to join the Quality team. The Stroke Coordinator is a professional responsible for the overall development, implementation, and evaluation of the hospital's Stroke Program. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care for stroke patients, promotes compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., NYS Department of Health, The Joint Commission), and drives continuous quality improvement initiatives. The Stroke Coordinator serves as a clinical expert, educator, and liaison for all aspects of stroke care across the continuum, including supervising stroke navigators, overseeing stroke data abstraction processes, and coordinating Telestroke services.
Salary Range: $90,000-$122,870 annually

Job Requirements
* Education: MSN or PA/NP degree required
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years of recent clinical experience in neurology, critical care, emergency medicine, or a dedicated stroke unit. Previous experience in program coordination, quality improvement, or education is highly desirable.
* Licensure/Certification: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or NYS Advanced Practice license required. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
