A fulfilling opportunity to join Rednock School as a Teaching Assistant.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated people to join the Student Development team at Rednock School under the direction of the school’s SENDCo. You will be required to support students with Special Educational Needs and/or disabilities to access the curriculum and to provide support in all subject areas. The successful candidate will have a positive, optimistic approach and may have experience of working in education, preferably in a secondary environment, though this is not necessary. Teamwork, patience and a sense of humour are essential aspects of the post as is the respect and support of students to encourage their progress through the curriculum. ICT skills, commitment to good practice and sensitivity are also essential.
Our ideal candidate will have experience supporting SEN students and with both KS3 and KS4 curriculum, though this is not necessary.
The role is a one year contract of 28 hours per week across 5 days, term time only. This will commence on the 1st September 2025 until 31st August 2026. The salary is £15,440 per annum (Grade 3 Point 4, pro rata). There may be an option for reduced part-time hours, this can be discussed at interview.
