Housing Assistant
Location: Brandon Gate, Hamilton
Hours: 21 hours per week, Permanent

Salary: £15,110 - £17,015 per year
An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone who has excellent customer care and communication skills. The role of Housing Assistant undertakes a wide range of clerical duties including word processing, filing, and photocopying, and supports Housing Officers by providing advice to tenants and customers, making a direct impact on the local community.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to organise and prioritise their workload, respond to changing priorities, contribute effectively to team goals and projects, and use relevant IT systems and software applications. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Due to the position being in a front‑line service, a commitment to the principles of customer care, effective communication, and interpersonal skills is essential, along with maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain records and manage filing systems.
* Produce reports and correspondence using Microsoft Word.
* Prepare and manage data in Microsoft Excel.
* Support Housing Officers in providing advice to tenants and customers.
* Ensure compliance with confidentiality and information governance.
