Role Description

Network Operations is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to fill the role of Head of Network Operations (NetOps) Analytics and Automation within our Core Technology Infrastructure organization. This critical position will drive the evolution and transformation of our network operations through data-driven insights and innovative automation solutions at a global scale. The Head of Network Operations (NetOps) Analytics and Automation will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive strategy to optimize network availability and performance, enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in network automation, analytics & AI-driven automation, with operational excellence and communication skills. This individual will lead a global team responsible for the development and implementation of advanced analytics and AI solutions, centralized reporting, and self-healing / automation capabilities that minimize downtime and improve operational agility.


Responsibilities

* Develop, maintain and execute a comprehensive analytics and automation roadmap aligned with business objectives.
* Drive automation-first strategies that reduce manual effort, improve efficiency, and enhance reliability across network operations.
* Lead a high-performing global team of analysts and software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Ensure network automation complies with relevant regulatory requirements, security requirements and industry standards.
* Establish Key Performance Indicators and Service-Level Objectives to measure operational effectiveness.
* Build relationships with CTO, Application Production Support & Engineering, CIO organizations and other stakeholders.
* Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
* Actively engage with consumers to understand their needs.
* Develop feedback mechanisms to ensure adoption, satisfaction and drive continuous improvement.
* Manage budget and resources effectively, monitor progress and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly.
* Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to team members.
* Provide input on reference architecture across Global Technology.


What We Are Looking For

* Computer Science degree or other software engineering discipline or equivalent.
* Knowledge and understanding of network protocols and technologies, automation technologies and AI/ML-driven observability platforms and analytics tools, including Terraform, Itential, NetDevOps, Splunk, Python, React JS, Django and database technologies such as MySQL DB and Redis.
* Experience with custom application development using Python, advanced analytics, and data science.
* Proven experience in building and leading high-performing global teams, driving innovation and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Proven experience of leading and managing teams in a complex, enterprise-wide environment.
* Excellent communication, problem solving and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive organizational change and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.


Skills That Will Help

* Knowledge of Agile framework & SCRUM ceremonies.
* Financial services industry experience or experience in other highly regulated industries.
* Knowledge of public and hybrid cloud networking.
* Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering principles.
