story. Purpose of the role:
1. To onboard, train, and develop new surveyors so they can confidently and competently deliver home surveys in line with business standards, systems, and customer expectations
Key responsablities:
2. Deliver structured induction and ongoing training to new surveyors on all aspects of the business, including company values, policies, and operational workflows,
3. Teach the end-to-end process of completing home surveys using the Wren software, including data entry, photo capture, report generation, and system navigation,
4. Instruct new surveyors on all health and safety processes, risk assessments, PPE requirements, and safe working practices specific to domestic survey environments,
5. Train surveyors on the correct procedures for uploading, organising, and storing survey documentation within company systems to ensure compliance and audit readiness,
6. Provide clear training on the full customer process, from initial booking and communication through to survey delivery, follow-up, and handover,
7. Assess trainee progress through practical observations, quizzes, and live survey shadowing, providing constructive feedback and additional support where required,
8. Maintain accurate training records and sign-off competency for each new surveyor before they work independently,
9. Update training materials and Wren software guidance as processes or system features evolve,
10. Collaborate with the senior surveyors and survey managers to ensure training aligns with current business standards and customer feedback.
About You
Essential Skills & Attributes:
11. Expert-level proficiency in Wren software and all survey-related systems,
12. Strong communicator with the ability to explain complex processes clearly to beginners,
13. Patient, supportive, and motivational training style,
14. Thorough knowledge of health & safety legislation relevant to home surveys,
15. Organised and detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills,
16. Full understanding of the customer journey and service standards,
17. Previous experience as a practising surveyor.
