The Role
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Unqualified PE Teacher or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a specialist independent school in West London. The provision supports children and young people with complex needs, including Autism (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, and associated learning difficulties.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about sport, physical activity, and wellbeing to inspire pupils who have often faced barriers to learning. You'll plan and deliver engaging PE lessons, adapting activities to meet the needs of all learners, while supporting their confidence, teamwork, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver and adapt PE lessons and sports activities for pupils with SEND and SEMH needs.
* Support pupils in developing physical skills, confidence, and a love for sport.
* Promote teamwork, resilience, and positive social interaction through physical activity.
* Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure lessons meet EHCP targets.
* Contribute to wider school activities, enrichment, and extra-curricular opportunities.
* Model positive behaviour and build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
About You
* Previous experience working with young people (in education, coaching, or youth work) is essential.
* Experience supporting pupils with SEND and/or SEMH needs is highly desirable.
* A background in sport, fitness, or physical education.
* Confident in planning and delivering engaging activities.
* Patient, resilient, and passionate about making a difference.
* HLTA status or similar experience is desirable, but not essential.
