We are managing the search for a new Executive Assistant supporting the Group Chief Financial Officer of a large European Security business.
You will be responsible for supporting the Group CFO with organising their diary, travel, email and ensuring they can operate with ease every day. You will be a guardian of their time, enabling the Group CFO to meet their objectives effectively.
Your role will include supporting the wider Senior leadership team as well on occasions and some travel to the Head Office and other office locations, on average 1-2 times per month (some months may require more, this will be dependent on projects and pre-planned.)
Key responsibilities:
* Co-ordinate and manage travel arrangements and administration
* Diary management (juggling competing priorities both internal and external), including arrangement of meetings, minute taking, circulation and tracking of actions.
* Working closely with the other EA’s as a to ensure the Executive team as a whole work together efficiently.
* Email management (responding on behalf of the Executive(s) as directed), expenses handling and travel arrangements.
* Support the timely and effective delivery of key tasks such as pulling together first drafts of reports / slide decks when required.
* You will be privy to a lot of highly confidential information and data, we are looking for someone with incredibly high integrity that will ensure the confidentiality of this data is protected
* The successful individual will be able to pre-empt what is needed and be “one step ahead” of the Executive(s)
* You may be asked to assist in the delivery of projects
* Supporting with the organising of team and corporate events
Key skills & experience:
* Experience working in a large, fast paced business supporting C-Suite/Executives
* Able to work successfully in a high challenge / high support environment
* Intelligent and also practical with a high emotional intelligence
* Sets high standards for themselves and others, accuracy and high attention to detail is key
* Strong team player, with the ability to constructively challenge and then get to a solution
* Takes ownership
* Willing to work additional hours and / or travel, as required
* First class influencer who is able to win hearts and minds
* Excellent IT and presentation skills
* Excellent ability to prioritise and manage your own, and others time effectively
* A second European language (Spanish, Italian, German or French) would be helpful – but not required
* Willingness to learn and an ability to ask questions and challenge professionally where relevant
