Our Office of the General Counsel (“OGC”) advise on a wide variety of risk issues that arise in the delivery of professional services across the areas of assurance, tax and advisory in which the firm operates.

A look into the role
As the Paralegal Executive within the OGC Commercial Contracting team, you will:
1. Be a key contact for the Firm’s service lines in respect of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs);
2. Review, draft, amend and negotiate a range of legal documents such as NDAs, hold harmless letters, release and reliance letters;
3. Work with the wider OGC team to provide an efficient and high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
4. Assist our client-facing teams in overcoming legal challenges and to advise and guide our client-facing teams in relation to the Firm’s policies and processes;
5. Conduct legal research and prepare summaries or briefing notes on specific topics as required;
6. Assist with the development and administration of legal technology and AI platforms;
7. Support in the management and development of other junior Paralegals in the team; and
8. Support other team members and, in time, take supervisory and management responsibility for NDAs.
Knowing you’re right for us
Joining us as the Paralegal Executive, the minimum criteria you’ll need is:
9. Law degree or equivalent qualification, or Paralegal/Legal Assistant qualification. Completion of the LPC or SQE1 is desirable.
10. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal at a top law firm and/or in-house corporate level legal department.
11. Demonstrable experience of reviewing and negotiating legal documents (in particular NDAs) and liaising with clients to resolve legal and commercial issues.
12. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), document management systems, DocuSign and contract databases.
13. Comfortable working independently on routine matters while collaborating closely with legal counsel on more complex issues.
14. A positive, proactive attitude and excellent attention to detail and take pride in consistently delivering a high-quality output.
15. An ability to communicate effectively with all members of our diverse team and the wider firm.
