We are looking to recruit a Senior Support Worker to join our team in Hull (HU7).
This is a full time role. 08:00 - 20:30 / 20:00 - 08:30.
£13.95 per hour.
It would be ideal if you have previous experience gained in a similar role. However, while this is valuable, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours in order to make a difference to people’s lives. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support.
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team committed to our residents’ wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.
You will provide support with day‑to‑day activities, encouraging and promoting independent living. You will assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, and undertake routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate wellbeing, dignity, and treatment of our residents and tenants.
Your positive attitude and passion for providing high quality care and support will be your key strengths, and you will also bring a friendly, patient, and positive approach to work.
* Supervise and support a team in the delivery of person‑centred care, encouraging independence and life skills.
* Support tenants in a person‑centred way, including personal care, participation in activities, and daily living skills.
* Act as a positive role model providing supervision, guidance, and professional development.
* Plan staff shifts and rotas, and complete daily administration of electronic and paper records.
* Support staff and individuals in maintaining health and wellbeing, liaising with specialists when needed.
* Encourage the individual’s participation and integration in the local community.
* Promote an innovative approach and a positive culture, embedding the REACH standards.
* Ensure colleagues comply with company policies and procedures.

* Competence in verbal and written English.
* Willingness to work towards a Level 3 social care qualification with Priory.
