Part of the SPTS Engineering division, the Equipment Engineering and Development Group is a multi-disciplined team providing automation solutions to integrate SPTS process systems into customer semiconductor fabrication factories worldwide.

As the successful candidate, you will be an experienced/proven Electrical/Electronic Design Engineer with a detailed understanding of all aspects of electrical and electronic design.
You will work with other specialists in equipment design and integration, and must be able to meet tight deadlines in a highly regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Electrical / electronic control and interface design
* Electrical assembly design
* Design of electrical enclosures using Solid Edge
* Wiring harness design
* AC/DC power distribution circuit design
* Analogue and digital circuit design
* Fault finding / problem solving
* Designing safety circuits to comply with EN13849
* Technical report writing
* Producing engineering drawings, build and test guides
Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
* Proven experience in electrical/electronic design
* Strong understanding of Machinery safety regulations and standards (EN60204, EN13849)
* Knowledge of UL/NFPA regulations
* Experience in designing safety circuits
* Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar software
* 3D CAD experience is preferred
