A vacancy has arisen for an experienced, dynamicfull time Accounts Payable Manager at PD Ports within the Transactional Finance team.
Location: Queens Square – Head Office, Middlesbrough.
Working Arrangements: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (hybrid working available).
The five main things our Accounts Payable Manager will be working on are:
* Ensuring the accounts payable function is operated accurately, efficiently and to agreed timescales.
* Overseeing of accounts payable processes from input to payment, ensuring that processes are being adhered to across the business.
* Understanding the procurement/purchase procedure. Implementing changes as required to improve the service provided by the accounts payable team to the business.
* Review and monitor unmatched cash payments. Review, monitor and report on accounts payable and procurement KPI's.
* Checking payment runs, compiling and reporting statutory reporting for payment practices and performance.
We are seeking someone who:
* Has a proven ability to supervise and motivate staff, with at least 3 years' experience in a similar Accounts Payable Manager role.
* Is a well organised team player.
* Has strong communication skills.
* Possess a positive attitude to problem solving as well as forward thinking.
* Has the ability to liaise confidently with all other departments at all levels.
