We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed team player to provide a safe and efficient driving support service. Broadway Academy is a high performing academy in north Birmingham. The Role To support the Academy by driving our 7-seater SUV or minibus on various student transport-related activities, including: • transporting small groups of students between the Academy sites (Birmingham and Worcester) • transporting students to college visits and educational trips • carrying out vehicle safety checks, cleaning and general maintenance of the school 7-seater SUV and minibus Requirements for the post • to complete a D1 Driving Assessment and MIDAS minibus training qualification if not currently held • a clean, full UK driving licence • First Aid and/or Health and Safety qualification would be desirable • experience of basic vehicle maintenance • experience of motorway driving • reasonable availability during the working week Why you should join us You will get a real opportunity to make a difference within a school which encourages students and staff to be aspirational.
