Plumbing Remedial Engineer

What will I be doing?
You’ll be part of our skilled mechanical team, working independently and collaboratively to complete remedial and reactive plumbing tasks. Every day will bring something different, but you can expect to:
* Carry out plumbing works safely and efficiently, following SMS Method Statements.
* Undertake water testing, sampling and tank disinfection alongside Water Treatment Engineers.
* Identify non‑compliances and report system conditions to Account Managers.
* Use Opuz software and your company iPad to complete accurate reports.
* Support the development of new plumbers and share your knowledge.
* Uphold the highest health and safety standards across every task.
* Take ownership of your work with help available when needed.
What do I need to be successful?
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their trade and works with integrity and precision. You’ll need:
* NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plumbing.
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
* Minimum 2 years plumbing experience, ideally within the water hygiene industry.
* Confidence working independently and safely on‑site.
* Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
* Basic IT knowledge using iPads and digital reporting tools.
* Ability to pass Disclosure and Barring Service clearance (Enhanced DBS check).
If you’ve had experience in commercial or domestic environments or knowledge of legionella control, that’s an extra advantage.
