The role
We are seeking a dynamic learning and development professional to design and deliver system and process training across multiple business areas that support both customers and brokers. This role requires close collaboration with key stakeholders within UK business units to coordinate and implement effective training solutions. As a Technology Roadmap Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our ambitious technology initiatives, driving improvements in customer and broker experiences, and facilitating organizational change. You will work closely with business and change teams, ensuring seamless adoption of new systems and processes. The position demands both technical expertise in training design and delivery, as well as strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and influence outcomes when necessary. You will be responsible for leading multi-site delivery across various UK sites and our Operational Centre in Lisbon.
Key responsibilities
Training
1. You will be responsible for the delivery of high quality, technical training on system applications for all those within the UK business
2. Design and implement new ways of training that enhance the learning experience of the end users.
3. Work closely as an extended member of the workflow continuous improvement team to understand how Workflow CRM should be used today and support the role out of future changes to the system
4. Support adoption of the system and post training after care, working with the workflow Continuous improvement team and change management
5. Partner with the group L&D function when required, to utilise Learning and Development governance and standards in line with Hiscox brand and ensure that training records are kept up to date
6. Lead with creation and updates of existing learning materials for Workflow CRM
7. Provide remote learning as well as classroom based learning
8. Work closely with the Induction Lead trainer to make sure all new entrants receive the most relevant and up-to-date training on Microsoft Dynamics
Capability building
9. Ensure all training sessions you run are well structured and encourage learning
10. Keep all training collateral up to date when changes are made
11. Juggle remote and in person training within the same session, keeping those online as engaged as those in the classroom.
12. Work closely with the UK Business acting as their voice for continuous improvements to the systems within the workflow continuous improvement team.
Person Specification:
13. Strong facilitation and presentation abilities
14. Experience managing knowledge and information for frontline employees
15. Background in designing process guides and training materials (preferred)
16. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet targets
17. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, flexible approach
18. Demonstrates drive, confidence, and a proactive attitude
19. Detail-oriented with an inquisitive mindset
20. Capable of challenging decisions constructively and professionally
