Teacher of English
Thomas Rotherham College, part of the Inspire Learning Trust, is seeking a full‑time (32.5 hours per week) or part‑time Teacher of English to join from September 2026. The successful candidate will deliver effective teaching, learning and assessment to students in the department which delivers A level English Language, A level English Literature and GCSE English Language. Candidates should ideally be able to teach at least two of these qualifications.
Responsibilities
* Deliver effective teaching, learning and assessment to students in A level English Language, A level English Literature and GCSE English Language.
* Develop the literacy, numeracy, employability and progression skills as part of the 16‑19 study programmes.
* Work flexibly and contribute to a positive, solution‑focused working environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Qualified teacher with the ability to teach at least two of the following: A level English Language, A level English Literature, GCSE English Language.
* Willingness to work part‑time if desired; applicants wishing to apply on a part‑time basis should state their preferred FTE in their letter of application.
