What you will experience in this position:
As an Inside Sales - Digital Sales Representative at Chemelex, you will play a critical role in advancing our sales and business development initiatives. You will be responsible for developing our core business in the UK & Ireland by delivering a digital customer experience. This office-based role requires minimal travel and customer relationships will be established and maintained remotely, expanding virtual engagement through various digital channels and supported by robust digital tools and processes. You will promote and implement effective product and project sales strategies across channel partners and contractors, educating them on Raychem products designed for building and infrastructure sectors.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the data center construction market. Identify and target potential clients to expand our customer base
* Ensure strong collaboration with the specification team to ensure cradle to grave approach across the team
* Develop a deep understanding of the product portfolio and their applications to provide high-level technical support and assistance
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor products, and new technologies
* Conduct customer presentations remotely with collaboration tools such as Teams, Zoom, and others
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market feedback. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends
Qualifications
* Demonstrated sales acumen and strong commercial awareness, with a genuine enthusiasm for selling and supporting customer success. Experience in technical sales within the data center sector is advantageous
* Robust technical expertise with the ability to comprehend and clearly articulate complex engineering concepts
* Proficient computer and digital communication skills; experience with Salesforce is considered an asset
* Previous experience in sales or customer service, with a broad understanding of sales processes
* Positive, results-driven attitude with an emphasis on teamwork
* Superior interpersonal and communication skills
* Skilled in Salesforce and the Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred knowledge
* Basic knowledge of electrical heat tracing or low voltage electrical power distribution
* Detailed knowledge of HVAC, Building Control, or Building Services
