SEND Support Assistant Location: LS18, Leeds Job Type: Full-time / Part-time Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience We are currently hiring a dedicated SEND Support Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming school in LS18, Leeds. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 support and small group support for pupils with SEND Assist teachers in delivering differentiated learning activities Support children with autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties Help implement EHCPs and Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Requirements: Experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant or similar Knowledge of SEND needs (ASC, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language) Patient, nurturing, and resilient approach Strong teamwork and communication skills Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 TA, Care, or SEND – desirable) Why Apply for this SEND Role?
