We are recruiting for a Trainee Transport Supervisor to work for our client based in Garretts Green.
Hours - there is an element of flexibility, however the right candidate will be able to work an late morning/afternoon shift.
Salary 27,500 per annum.

The successful candidate will receive full training and support whilst gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of transport operations, driver management, route planning, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with the day-to-day running of the transport department
* Supporting driver briefings and debriefings
* Monitoring vehicle movements and delivery schedules
* Helping to ensure compliance with transport legislation and company procedures
* Liaising with drivers, customers, and warehouse staff
* Updating transport systems and records accurately
* Assisting with vehicle maintenance scheduling and defect reporting
* Providing excellent customer service and resolving operational issues
Candidate Requirements
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
* A willingness to learn and develop within the role
* Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work
* Previous experience within transport, logistics, or warehousing would be advantageous but is not essential
